I am a 1st grade teacher at Hale Kula Elementary School. This is my third year teaching, I taught 3rd grade at a private school for 2 years. Teaching is my passion!
If you can't find me in the classroom you will find me running, hiking or kickboxing. My second passion is fitness. In March I ran my first 5K and in April I completed my first biathlon. I try to exercise 6 days out of the week.
My husband has been in the Air Force for 7 years. We have been married for 8 years. During these 7 years we have moved from Tennessee to Texas and to our current station Hawaii. We love it on the beautiful island of Oahu and hope to have several years here. We have endured 4 deployments and too many TDYs to count. Our family only grows stronger as we endure these times of separation.

We have twin boys. They are the world to us! I love learning from them as well as watching them grow. It is amazing to see how different our boys are from each other.
Been looking through some classes that use Twitter and found yours. By the way, I was in Oahu this summer. My husband and niece spent the summer traveling to Oahu, Maui, and Kauai. I teach teachers and am trying to convince them of the power of implementing Twitter in their classrooms and to use Twitter themselves.
