Science Adventures!

We planted a lima bean for each of our students.  We placed two lima beans in a damp paper towel and placed them in a ziploc bag.  Once we finished placing our beans in their bag, we hung the plants outside so they could get sunlight.  They need sunlight so they can grow.  The other things they need to grow is air, water, food, and soil.
How long do you think it might take for our plants to grow?

  3. Our class did some planting down by the creek. We worked with our big buddies to plant some bushes and grasses which will give frogs a home when they grow. It was quite tricky as the bank of the creek was very steep. We will have to water our plants next term when the weather gets hotter.Where did you plant them? Do you have a class garden?

  4. We planted our plants in a cup. We do not have a class garden. We do have a grade level garden, which all of 1st grade is responsible for. P4
